APEL is a family-owned company that provides technology-based educational approaches to support students with reading disabilities. Our research-based reading systems are designed to promote student independence, academic achievement, and full inclusion.

Currently used by schools on Native American reservations throughout Arizona and Utah, our SLICE and Story Spinner systems provide invaluable resources to special education teachers and students.
