Dropped my truck off to get u joints, and a carrier bearing. Even bought the whole shop breakfast. They were nice enough until I picked my truck up, and it had a terrible vibration. I took it straight back, and Adam claimed it was my tires or control arms. I could tell he was blowing me off, so I waited until I could get it in to an actual driveline shop. Northwest truck repair wound up putting my drive line on a lathe and confirmed the stub shift the carrier bearing sits on was very bent. Upon tear down, Adam, and his shops complete incompetence was very evident. All the glide coat was melted off and the metal was visibly heat discolored. Then there's a 2 inch long 1/8deep gouge in the bearing surface. The tech at Northwest truck replaced, and balanced my driveshaft, and once installed I had zero vibration. So I took the part Adam's shop damaged to him along with the receipt for an additional $882 in damages incurred from the unskilled attempt at freeing a stuck bearing race. I only asked him to reimburse me half of the bill, since I'm partialy at fault for not listening to the other bad reviews he has. He said he would think about it, and never returned a call. I filed in small claims court, but had to drop it because I had a conflicting Dr's appointment for my first round of treatment for esophageal cancer the morning of the court date. I'm also aware that even in likely event that the judge finds in my favor, Adam is not a man of integrity not even close, and will never pay what he owes for the damage his shop did. But hey, comes around, goes around. To be fair, I've seen his home and he ain't got the money to pay anyway, so I'll chalk this up as a loss.
